ABOUT GRANITES OF THE WORLD.
Granites of the World is a Society that focuses its activity in the import of the ornamental natural stone, mainly in the granite sector, being directed to the investigation, development, elaboration and marketing in the national as well as in the international market, where maintains a notable presence with 35/45 % of its sales to consolidated and important clients of Holland, Germany, France, Italy, Japan, United States and other countries.
Granites of the World have, for the development of its activity, a wide mining area in Spain, that permits it to have on development five own quarries, those which are extracted the varieties of granite: Light Blue, Smooth Black, Golden Perl, Great Beige and Great Gray, all in exclusivity. Furthermore it accomplishes an important labor of mining investigation to go incorporating others new own granites.
For the elaboration of its own granites as well as national or imported, we have a factory, located in Spain equipped with:
- 10 Gangsaws, in the sawing section , with capacity to process 6.000 M3/year of granite blocks.
- 1 Polishing and 1 Flaming machine in the section of surface finishing.
- 1 Automatic multidisc cutting machine and 3 bridge saws in the cutting section.
- 1 automatic and programmable machine for the elaboration of granite pieces with special forms: curves, columns, etc.
- Various complementary machines to accomplish all type of special projects.
The products with those which attends market are:
- Raw Granite blocks.
- Different thickness slabs and with different finishes.
- Cut to size for projects ( facade- lining and floors).
- Special forms and designs.
With all this Granites of the World, reaches a volume of considerable sales, and is found well represented and stabilized in the sector of the ornamental natural stone.
